Sculpting flexible, woven structures which support new technologies and interfaces while preserving tradition and handcrafted textiles

Physical Computing - Each pocket serves as an individual switch turning on when closed and off when open. The textile’s physical interactivity combined with digital graphic visualization encourages prolonged play and engagement.

Pattern Draft - The resulting pattern transitioned from tabby to double layer to four layer, returning in reverse through this cycle to finish with tabby.

How It Works - Conductive thread is placed perpendicularly to maximize the contact area between layers and strengthen performance when a pocket is pressed.
